Grandaddy's ~~~AKA: Daa~~~ little helper

WE were planting some tulip bulbs and Daa asked Abigail if she wanted to help. She immediately said YEAH!! Here are a few pics from that . She was so precious helping do this and had so much fun :)

Been a while

Sorry I have been away for a while. Just been busy and not been able to post. We have moved my oldest son back home from Greenville and he is now living with us again until he can get back on his feet. He is really looking for a job or transfer back to Greenwood and so for now he is commuting back and forth. Pray he has safe traveling protection during his transfer.

Our babies are growing really fast I cannot believe that they are 22 months and 9 months now. Abigail is almost 2 years old. WOW that is hard to believe. Here are a few pictures of Abigail taken at the local park the other night. She had so much fun. She is so sweet and so precious. Nana loves her sooooooooooo much....

MID WEEK

Well it is Wednesday and halfway through the week. I have finally got caught up on my laundry since vacation. It sure has been sad not waking up to babies and helping out with them. I know Sarah has had a busy week but I am sure she is glad to get the babies back on a regular schedule. She is a GOOD MOMMY and we are proud to call her DAUGHTER!

Work has been good this week it has been busy but good.

Vacation w/My beautiful family

Well, I guess this is a good time to post something. I am up at 4:30 a.m. on my vacation... go figure. Just can't sleep so up and atom. I may wish I had slept or could go back to sleep this afternoon. Oh well I will cross that bridge when I come to it. I think the older I get the more I am like my mother.. I do not need much sleep I guess.

So we are having a blast on vacation with the family. Abigail LOVES the beach. She is not afraid of the ocean, waves or sand. She loves to play and dig and build sand castles. She is so sweet and I love her and her sisters so much.

Now Sophia did not mind the water that much and actually liked kicking in the waves, but Emma she did not like the water touching her feet at all. She did not even want to get her feet wet. At the pool it got better though. She actually had a good time splashing with her float and getting her face all wet. In some of their pictures they would just lay back in their floats and seem to let the water just sooth them, Sophia almost went to sleep in her float. :)

The "bigger kids" seem to be having a good time too. Nana and Granddaddy are just here for the fun of seeing all of them have a good time and to help when needed.

Children and Grandchildren are a GIFT from God and they are very special. Enjoy them if you have them and be blessed from God above that he trusted you with them to raise for his glory.

Been away for a While. ...

Sorry I have not posted lately. Just been busy. I know that is just an excuse. Well just working and playing with Grandbabies. We are getting ready for our "Family" trip to the beach. I cannot wait. Pray we have a SAFE and FUN trip with the little ones. This will be Abigail's second time and Emma and Sophia's first trip. I want to get pictures of their feet in the sand like I did Abigail's last year. I cannot wait. So hopefully I will not wait a long time to post some pictures after we get back.

Sunday evening

Just got back from babysitting Abigail while mom & dad went to a church group meeting. She was so sweet helping Nana bake brownies, but when it was time to go to sleep she did not want to go . Nana had to rock, sing and hold her for about 30 minutes. Nana did not mind but knew that she was sleepy so Nana just put her in bed and in just a few minutes she was asleep. Nana did not mind holding and rocking and singing to her so all is GOOD. That little girl is so precious. And Emma and Sophia are precious too but they were with mommy and daddy :)

Nana's Been busy

Wow, I sure have been busy since getting back from vacation. Sorry I have not posted lately. I have not even went through my pictures to have any developed. Busy with work and getting things done around house and seeing grandbabies :) ... yeah they really do come first now a days. I love those little girls so much. Will try to get some pictures posted this weekend if I can find the time. Have a great day everyone :)

Having fun on Vacation but missing my grandbabies!

Well hello everyone. We are having a BLAST on vacation with our "sister" Robin. We have been having fun daily going to the beach and watching the dolphins. They are BEAUTIFUL. Will try and post a picture of them. I sure do miss my grandbabies though. Oh well I will enjoy what little time we have left here our other "family" is coming in tonight, Tom & Lisa. Can't wait to show them around Amelia. Oh well I will leave you with a picture of the dolphins we saw today. :)

Boy I am tired....

Well I have been cleaning house all morning and I feel better about leaving for vacation now. I really do not like to leave things out of order when we go on vacation so when we come back we can just unload the car and then everything will be OUT OF ORDER again. LOL. will try to keep you all posted while on vacation. This is the first vacation that I will have my laptop and try to keep folks updated.. that is if I can stay off the beach :)

Getting Ready for Vacation

We are trying to get ready for vacation. Will be leaving on Sunday but not sure if I am ready to leave our grandbabies for seven days... OH MY... that is a long time away from them. Do I really want to go?!! Yeah I do. Will try and post more later.

Well I have hit a new challenge in my life ~~ BLOGGING. Let's see how well Nana is at this kind of stuff. Everyone makes it look so easy so I will see. Here is my BEAUTIFUL family. Hopefully I can keep this updated for everyone to come and enjoy.
